Ah, Life. It can be convoluted sometimes, with wany twists and turns. Such a life simply
means that you are human. I offer warmth, genuineness, playfulness, and empathy as you wind
your way through the complexities of living a life of meaning, amid the tangled obstacle course.
As a Registered Social Worker with 27 years combined experience in psychotherapy, (initially as
an Occupational Therapist and more recently as a Social Worker). I work with adults and young
adults either virtually or in person on weekends only.
I will hold a safe space, provide support, and help you identify and reach your goals for
therapy, whether that be practical coping strategies for everyday life, identifying and working
with emotions past or present, or getting in touch with your inner wisdom (we ALL have inner
wisdom).
I specialize in working with individuals with mood (depression and bipolar), anxiety
(generalized, social, situational), and concurrent disorders (e.g., mood + addiction), emotion
regulation and grief. I draw from a variety of clinical approaches, such as CBT, DBT, ACT,
psychodynamics, and mindfulness, using a flexible integrative approach. I work from a client-
centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective that is directed by your unique needs.
Availability:
Virtual: Saturdays 9-5
Sundays 9-2
In person: Saturdays 9-5 at the Village Healing Centre
Consultations (free): Mon, Tue, Fri evenings
