Karin Francis, BA, DVATI, RP
Registered Psychotherapist
Welcome! I have worked as a mental health professional for over 25 years with a variety of clients in various settings. I enjoy working with women's issues and some of the challenges we face on this journey: life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, wellness, midlife challenges/expectations and work/life balance etc. Motherhood is an area of support and counselling that I am very passionate about. I feel called to walk alongside others who are on exceptional mothering journeys, be it special needs, family transitions, single parenting, fertility or any parenting /life balance challenge. My approach is holistic, trauma informed, client centred and relational in nature. I take an integrated approach and intuitively weave a variety of modalities into my practice, working towards freeing clients up to live in their highest expression of self.
Throughout my life, I have been interested in people's journeys. Along with talk therapies, I provide cutting-edge interventions that can facilitate access to deeper healing and practical tools that can easily be brought into self-practice. I am interested in the nervous system and how life's events can impair it, leaving us feeling unfulfilled and reacting to life rather than living it. I’m here to shine a light on your path and to support you to move from disconnection and overwhelm to grounded and balanced, so that your precious authentic self can shine through.
I currently offer in-person sessions Friday afternoons, virtual sessions and guided remote Safe and Sound Protocol to parents/caregivers and their children.
Please visit my website for more information on how to book a session
