With over 30 years of social work experience in support of children, youth and families.
Over the course of my career, I have worked extensively with individuals and families
recovering from experiences of adversity, trauma, and transitions, such as separation,
divorce, and adoption.
In addition to my formal Social Work training, I have actively engaged in Professional
Development throughout my career. My professional approach has been informed by
supplemental trainings in Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy,
Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Trauma Theory, Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused
CBT, and Mindfulness. I am receiving Supervision from Linda Hochstetler.
At the core, I am a down to earth person; I value people, as well as the importance of
community, in maintaining one’s sense of well-being and encouraging personal growth.
