What
I bring to the therapy session.
I
am a seasoned psychotherapist with a background in Bioenergetic psychotherapy
and Self Psychology.
I
bring a strong body orientation to my work, using Bioenergetic therapy
techniques, such as breathwork, body focusing, grounding exercises, relaxation
and physical and vocal release work, to understand and process body language, as
it manifests in chronic muscle tension, adaptive postures, shallow or
constricted breathing, somatic symptoms and energy blocks. I also incorporate
aspects of Buddhist mindfulness meditation and Reiki energy healing.
Self Psychology explores the early childhood development of your sense of self,
and how inadequate or intrusive parenting or traumatic events can distort and limit
your ability to grow a healthy authentic self. We will look at your family
history and life events and how they still impact your present life, you can
connect to your inner child, and uncover buried memories, feelings, strengths
and gifts. Journaling, drawing, dreamwork and the therapy relationship are all
of value in building a strong and stable self.

environment, where you can work at your own pace and in a way that feels
comfortable to you, to enable you to build confidence, learn healthy life
