Carl Kern, M.OMSc, RMT,
4 Rivers Osteopathy and Massage Therapy

Carl is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. Osteopathy is a structurally-based healing modality meant to re-align your body and remove restrictions that impede your body's self-healing and self-regulation capabilities. Treating the body structurally can be helpful in addressing chronic and acute issues, pain, postural dysfunction, injuries, and traumas.
Carl is also a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Fleming College and is a member of the Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario. He uses Massage Therapy for relaxation, and as a meditation for the body and mind, reducing stress, getting us out of our heads and into our embodied selves.
Carl is committed to his goal of creating a safe space for all body types, all genders and orientations, and all human beings in all stages of their lives, prioritizing patient education, self-awareness, and movement towards mental, emotional, physical and spiritual balance. As a life-long learner, Carl's desire to connect inner and outer worlds, and explore the question of how to live a harmonious life, has led him into the practice of Osteopathy, Massage Therapy, as well as the study of Indigenous and Environmental Studies (BA), sustainable agriculture and organic farming, culinary arts, and artisinal sourdough bread baking. On his own, Carl is interested in folk music, herbal medicine, queer health, and he bakes religiously.
