Calixte Renaud, BA(Hons)
Therapist-in-Training, Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy
Polyamory & Non-Monogamy, Psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, LGBTQ Therapy and Counselling

I'm a relational therapist in clinical training at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, a rigorous psychotherapy graduate program accredited by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I'm currently in private practice under supervision by seasoned registered psychotherapists.
In my practice, I strive to offer a validating and non-judgemental space to explore all parts of your story. I start with a firm belief that we are the experts of our own lives, bodies and needs, and so my approach is client-led. I come from an anti-racist, sex diversity positive and affirming, intersectional feminist and class-conscious lens. I am here to be led through the woods of your life and share what I withness when welcomed. I know that your life has many chapters, and what you bring, big and small, is just a drop in an ocean. Those drops do not define you. Together, we will work together to unpack all parts of your story, at your own pace and on your own time.
I work with clients in all sorts of life transitions but have particular experience with: gender, sexuality, relationships, attachment dynamics, childhood trauma, sex work, career transitions, polyamory/non-monogamy, alt-sex and kink communities, LGBTI+, class differences and transitions, depression, anxiety
To see if we are a great fit, I offer a reduced rate for our first session at 50$ tax inclusive.
Credentials:
Therapist-in-Training, Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy
Bilingual BA (Hons) Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies, York University - Glendon Campus
Member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
Availability: Mondays
Rate: 110$ tax-inclusive. Some sliding scale spots available.
