INTRODUCTION
Hi, I’m Aakhansha Varghese (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and I’m really glad you found your way here.
If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, I want you to know you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, caught between caring for others and forgetting to care for themselves. Others are navigating big life changes, grief, ADHD, or emotional dysregulation that makes it hard to feel grounded and understood. I also work with children and teens who may struggle with self-esteem, anxiety, peer relationships, or emotional expression, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported as they build emotional awareness and confidence.
With over seven years of experience in the field of psychotherapy, I bring a warm, trauma-informed, and relational approach to my work. Together, we’ll slow down and make sense of what’s been hard; exploring your patterns, emotions, and the stories that have shaped your sense of self. I integrate mindfulness-based, compassion-focused, and experiential methods to help you reconnect with your inner strength and emotional balance.
Along with in-person and virtual sessions, I also offer walk-and-talk therapy; an opportunity to combine movement and reflection in nature, allowing the therapeutic process to unfold more organically and gently.
Whether you’re hoping to manage anxiety, support your child’s emotional growth, rebuild self-trust, or simply understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to offer a safe, supportive space for your healing. Therapy isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about growing at your own pace and remembering that you don’t have to carry everything alone.
I also offer sessions in Hindi, for those who find comfort in expressing themselves in their native language.
